Adoptable Dogs

If you are interested in adopting one of the dogs shown below, please complete this Adoption Application.

The adoption fee for dogs/puppies is $200, which includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, microchipping and deworming. Please understand that we do not have an adoption facility and all of our dogs are spread out in various foster homes, so we need to know which dog you are interested in meeting. An approved adoption application is required in order to meet one of our dogs.

There are more dogs for adoption on our referrals page, which lists dogs who need homes but are not in our program.

For dates of upcoming adoption fairs, please see our Calendar of Events.

*Please note -  this listing was last updated July 23rd and may not be totally up to date.

Because we bring new dogs into our program weekly, please check the website often.

Sugar Baby - Dachshund/ Pug Mix

AGE: 1 year old
SEX: Female

Sugar is certainly very sweet without a mean bone in her body. She loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home and doesn't mind the cat either. In fact, she seems to be quite the socialite at times. Sugar was raised with kids and appears to do well with them. She is still young so would need to be watched with any child until everyone knows each other well. Sugar is always up for a good time whether a movie, a walk, a carried, or "assisting" you with other chores around the house. This sweet girl would love to go home with you today. She has been spayed already and will be microchipped and updated on vaccines shortly (aka by the time you read this she will be ready to go). Looking to adopt a sweetheart? Apply above to fall in love today!

Taz - Yorkshire Terrier

AGE: 3 years old
SEX: Male

Don't let this little gentleman fool you with his name. Despite being named Taz he isn't quite as much of a Tasmanian Devil as you might think. In fact, his foster mom reports he is fairly low key for a little guy. We think the name speaks more towards his cuteness, spunk, and walk than it does towards any sort of romping. Taz does well with other dogs, cats, and ok with kids. He still needs to be neutered and will have his surgery the week of July 14th. He will also be microchipped at that time as well. In the meantime, he is enjoying hanging out in his foster home and meeting potential adopters. Speaking of adopters, if you are interested in adopting this young man, please fill out an application above. Serious inquiries only as we don't want his feelings to get hurt.

Vito - Fox Terrier Mix

AGE: 2 - 4 years old
SEX: Male

Vito "Spunky" (insert your last name here), should be this sweet boy's full name. He is just a fun little guy who is up for any adventure whether playing around the house, walking in the great outdoors, or receiving some love from friends. Vito is the perfect happy, fun-loving little guy. When you have his full attention his way too big ears stand straight up but when he wants to be sweet they fold flat with the most pitiful look you could imagine. Vito was found wandering the highway in search of a forever spot to call his own. Fortunately, a nice lady scooped him and brought him home so he could find a better life with some help from RDF. Vito is micro-chipped, neutered, and vaccinated. He is ready to find his next adventurous owner to explore the world with. If you are looking for a big fun personality in an easily portable companion, Vito is your man! You can apply for him today by filling out the application above.

Oakley - Shepherd Mix

AGE: 11 years old
SEX: Female

Don't let her age fool you - Oakley is still a young girl at heart. She came to us when her owner had to move and could no longer care for her. Oakley is a sweet girl and would love a family to dote her in her senior years. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Oakley is in great health and has lots of kisses to give her family. She just came in to our program so we will update you more on her preferences when we get to know her a littler better. In the meantime, if this girl has stolen your heart, please fill out an adoption application above.

Oakley will do best as the only pet in the household!.

Oakley's adoption fee will be waived for the right owner.

Champ - Pomeranian

AGE: 2 years old
SEX: Male

Champ came to Red Dog Farm when his owner found out she could no longer care for him. She had had him since 6 weeks old. Champ's world has obviously been turned upside down. He is handling it well though. His adores his foster mom and seems to be a bit of a mama's boy. He doesn't mind other people but at times doesn't want anyone but mom in his space. He is respectful in telling you not to bother him. In many ways, he is a typical little guy. Fairly social but likes his space. At this time, he would best in a home with older children. He enjoys hanging out with other dogs roughly his size and doesn't mind the resident cat. Champ would be happy to accompany you dinner and maybe the dog park. He is up to date on his vaccines and will be neutered and microchipped June 13th. He will be ready to go to his new home after that. You can apply to adopt Champ by filling out the adoption application above.

Beatrice - Chihuahua/ Corgi Mix

AGE: 2 years old
SEX: Female

Beatrice was originally found as a stray and knocking on death's door. She was very slim and throwing up mud, dirt, and road kill. Needless to say, thanks to a very nice family she is in much better health. Once she started feeling better, the current dogs in the house no longer cared for her and Beatrice needed to find new digs. We couldn't turn that cute face and story down. Beatrice arrived at her new foster home just yesterday and is starting to settle in. She is up to date on vaccines but will be spayed in about two weeks. She needs some additional time to recover from her "road trip" on the streets. We are still getting to know her so please stay tuned for further updates (unless someone snatches her up in the meantime). If you wish to adopt Beatrice, please start by filling out an adoption application above. She will have her people call your people when she gets it.

Ginger- Pekingese

AGE: 6 years old
SEX: Female

Ginger came to Red Dog Farm when her owner realized that she could no longer keep her. She has been raised with children and does great with them. She LOVES her people and would love to be a stay at home mommy or get to go to work with you if at all possible. She can be left at home if you need a night out but her dream home would include her most of the time. Ginger does fine with other dogs and cats. However, she would be perfectly fine as the only dog of the household. Basically, Ginger's requirements are a lap and attention as often as you can give it. Ginger is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, and microchipped so she is ready to go home today. If you are interested in adopting Ginger, please fill out an adoption application online.

Update! Ginger continues to do well in her foster home. However, she would prefer to be in a home with someone who is either retired and can spend their days with her, someone who works from home or a "stay at home" adult. Ginger LOVES to be with her person. She doesn't mind the occasional kid visitor but is past her care taking days of kids. Ginger would love to be someone's little sweetheart!

Jake - Cocker Spaniel

AGE: 7 years old
SEX: Male

This sweet Southern gentleman would love to find a forever where he could sit on the porch all day with you enjoying the mixture of sweet summer smells. Jake doesn't have a men bone in his body. He loves to get petted and doesn't mind lounging near your chair. Jake was surrendered by a family who could no longer keep him but grew up with five loving kids to dote on him. He appears to be the type that can sleep through anything but doesn't mind being awoken with a gentle caressing pet. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped but he is heartworm positive. It appears that the disease is in its' very early stages so we are hoping he has a speedy and easy recovery. He will be available once his treatment plan is in place so potential adopters can understand his needs before adopting him. Our veterinarians expect him to make a full recovery. If you are interested in meeting this boy and talking with our volunteers about adopting him, please fill out the adoption application above.

Sally Mae West - Great Dane

AGE: 7 months old
SEX: Female

Goofy, sweet, playful, and a little clumsy describes Sally Mae to a "t". Sally Mae came to us when her owners could no longer keep her. She LOVES to play with stuffed toys, kongs, and other dogs. Sally Mae does enjoy a good cuddle and we are having to convince her that she isn't necessarily a "lap" dog but more of a body pillow. Her foster mom reports she is getting the idea slowly. :) Sally Mae also appears to do fine with cats as well but we will test her a little further once she has been with us a few more days. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped so she is ready to go to her new home. Stay tuned for additional updates on her as we get to know her better! If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out an adoption application above.

Bentley- Great Pyrenees Mix

AGE: 1 year old
SEX: Male

Bentley is as sweet as they come. He may be a little shy at first but warms up quickly with treats. He loves his soccer ball. He is food with kids, dogs and farm animals. We are still getting to know him better but in the meantime, please complete an adoption application above!

Hudson - Labrador Ret.

AGE: 2 - 3 years old
SEX: Male

Marley would probably be a more fitting name for this boy. He LOVES people, kids, and other dogs. However, his BIG LOVE comes with BIG activity as well. He knows all of his basic commands but prefers a more carefree approach to life. Hudson would do great in an active home with clear boundaries. The old saying of boys will be boys applies to Hudson. He still has some mellowing out to do but prefers to be the life of party. And why not? Life is a party afterall. Hudson is great with kids but due to his size and excuberance a family with kids at least taller than him would be ideal. If you are looking for the perpertual puppy who loves to socialize, being a clown, and just have fun, then Hudson is your man. Withe set boundaries and some guidance, he is the perfect companion for the Marley loving home! If you are interested in adopting Hudson, please fill out an adoption application above.

Sasha- Mix

AGE: 7 years old
SEX: Female

Sasha came to Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue Network four years ago as a stray. Her current owners loved her deal but have had some life circumstances change and can no longer keep her. They brought her back to Red Dog Farm in hopes that she could find another family to love her as much as they did. Sasha is a sweet girl who doesn't mind other dogs or cats. She can be a little on the shy side so we recommend older, considerate children for her. Sasha is house broken and crate trained. If you are ready to open you home and heart to this sweet girl, please fill out an adoption application above.

Ruger- Shih Tzu

AGE: 1- 2 years old
SEX: Male

Ruger was found as a stray roaming the streets of Greensboro. We are still trying to find his owners in hopes of reuniting them with each other. However, if they can not be found, he will be available for adoption in a couple of weeks. Ruger is a very sweet boy and would make a great little dog for just about any family. We are still getting to know him and will update you on his personality as we get to know him better. In the meantime, fingers crossed that we find his owners.

Sadie & Saige - Pekingese

AGE: 3 years old
SEX: Females

Are you looking for a furry friend or snuggle buddy? Then look no further. Sadie and Sage came to Red Dog Farm when their family could no longer keep them due to a break up. They are very sweet and well-adjusted girls. They get along well with each other, other dogs, cats, kids, etc. Both girls are up to date on their vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. They can be adopted together or individually. Sadie reminds us of a typical outgoing socialite while Sage is slightly more reserved and needs her trust to be earned. To be honest though, a few treats is all it takes to win Sage's heart. If you are interested in adopting Sadie and/or Sage, please start by filling out an adoption application above.

Update! Sadie and Saige have adjusted well in their foster home. They love to play and wrestle. Sadie is the snuggly one and Saige likes to chew on bones and chase balls. They are both beautifully crate trained. Because both of them enjoy a good playful romp, they need to be adopted together or can be separated as long as there is another dog in the adoptive home.

Gilmore- Mix

AGE: 1 - 2 years old
SEX: Male

Gilmore was found as a stray all alone and very dirty. He is as sweet as they come. This active boy just wants to play with everyone he meets. His big personality and big ears when everyone over. We are still getting to know him but in the meantime, if you are interested in adopting Gilmore, please fill out an adoption application above.

Onyx - Beagle Mix

AGE: 1 year old
SEX: Male

Onyx came to Red Dog Farm after her owner pulled her from a shelter and then realized she could no longer keep her. She is a very smart girl who just aims to please and wants some love. She is a petite girl weighing in at around 30 pounds. Onyx does great with other dogs, cats, and older children. She might be a tad bouncy still for some children. Their is no mean bone in this girl body. She just needs to learn to keep all four feet on the floor and that we, humans, don't like doggie paws on our legs. We can walk just fine on our two and don't need to borrow hers. :) Onyx has been vaccinated and will be spayed and microchipped the second week of May. If you are interested in adopting Onyx, please feel out an adoption application above.

Shirley- Min. Pinscher

AGE: 8 months old
SEX: Female

Tex & Shirley came to Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue Network when their owners could no longer care for them. They are about 8 months old and are still learning some of their basic manners. They know how to sit and do a few tricks but are still puppies at heart. Tex and Shirley are also very true to their breed. They are little alarmists with strangers but do warm up to new folks - Tex a little quicker than Shirley. In fact, Shirley sometimes needs a compliment before giving you the time of day. Don't let her aloofness fool you. Once she trusts you, she loves you and will do just about anything you ask of her. Tex and Shirley can either be adopted out together or separately. If you are interested in opening your heart and home to one or both of them, please fill out an adoption application above.

Tex has been adopted but Shirley still needs her forever home.

Lacie - Schnauzer

AGE: 13 years old
SEX: Female

Lacie was originally found as a stray wandering the streets of Greensboro. We discovered at her initial vet check that she did indeed have an owner. However, her owner was no longer able to care for her and opted to let us help her rather than put her to sleep. Lacie had a horrible ear, eye, and bladder infection. She was also in need of a good haircut. Fortunately, our veterinarian's said she is in excellent health for her age despite the infections. Her ear and eye infection are clearing up nicely. Once her bladder infection was treated, we discovered that she had a massive bladder stone that needed to be removed for her well being and in order to prevent additional infections from occurring. We are happy to report that Lacie did great during her surgery and is making a full recovery in her foster home. She has so much life and spunk left in her that she will make a wonderful addition to any home. Old age can bring about a number of health concerns but anytime your dog starts not feeling well you should have them checked out by your veterinarian. Lacie's original owner thought it was just old age causing her to be lethargic and didn't have the money to investigate further. Fortunately for Lacie, we could help her. If you are interested in adopting Lacie, please start by filling out an adoption application online. This girl has plenty of time and spunk left in her to make someone a wonderful companion. Thanks to the generous support of ma Cares to the Red Dog Farm Relief Fund Lacie's expenses have been covered and her adoption fee will be waived for the right home.

Truman - Australian Shepherd Mix

AGE: 2 years old
SEX: Male

Sugar and spice and everything nice couldn't be a more fitting description for this loveable fella. Truman was originally found wandering the streets and made his way home with some very nice strangers. They then contacted RDF since they couldn't keep him. He is now resting comfortably in one of our foster homes. Truman does well with kids, cats, and other dogs. He truly doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He isn't thrilled with the crate but will stay in it if necessary. You may hear a little protesting if you are home and he is still in it. Truman just wants to be with you. He isn't needy but enjoys being with his family. If you are interested in sharing your love with this gentleman, please fill out an adoption application above.

Tiny Tim- Mix

AGE: 2 years old
SEX: Male

Tiny Tim originally came to Red Dog Farm in 2012, just two days before Christmas. He was severely injured with a broken femur that had begun to heal improperly. Due to the severity of his injuries, Tiny Tim ended up undergoing surgery to have the leg removed so that he could truly heal and be pain free. Tiny Tim recovered fully and was adopted last year. However just recently, his new owner decided they could no longer care for him. So Tiny Tim is once again looking for his real forever and ever home! This sweet fella will steel your heart away if you let him. If you are interested in adopting Tiny Tim, please complete an application found above.

Macie - Rat Terr.

AGE: 2-3 years old
SEX: Female

Macie spent the first two years of her life mostly chained outside. Fortunately for her, a very kind neighbor lady kept fabulous tabs on her and was finally able to convenience her owners to give her to her. The kind lady contacted RDF in hope of helping get her rehomed. Miss Macie is now enjoying the life of luxury in her new foster home. Macie is not shy and gets along great with other dogs, people, and cats. You would never suspect that she lived on a chain when you meet her. She is a little thin and will be spayed once she puts on another pound or two. Macie is vaccinated and Heartworm negative. She will be ready to go to her new home in about three weeks. In the meantime, Macie will be accepting applications and visitors. If you would like to adopt Macie, please fill out the adoption application above.

Penny - Hound/Lab Mix.

AGE: 6 months old
SEX: Female

Penny was originally adopted last fall but her family discovered that they just couldn't handle a growing puppy. Penny gets along well with other dogs and anyone she meets. Because she is an active puppy she would do best in a home with older children only. Penny has been spayed, micrcohipped and is current on all of her vaccinations. All she needs now is to find her perfect forever family. If you would like to adopt Penny, please fill out the adoption application above.

Reagan - Australian Shepherd

AGE: 1 1/2 years old
SEX: Female

Reagan is an absolute ball of fun. She came to RDF when her owners could no longer care for her. Reagan has lots of energy to go around and loves to play with other dogs and her Kong toys! She was hit by a car last February and had to have extensive orthopedic surgery. Her bad leg doesn’t slow her down on bit, although prolonged exercise like longs walks, running or hiking should be avoided. Reagan has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on all of her vaccinations. If you think Reagan is the right girl for you, please apply above!

Lily Pad - Mix

AGE: 9 months old
SEX: Female

Lily Pad was found as a stray and brought to Red Dog Farm when her owners could not be found. She was very emaciated and full of intestinal parasites. However, Lily is now healthy, gaining weight and parasite free. She has been spayed, microchipped, and has received all of her puppy boosters. Now this little gal just needs to find her forever family. Can you help a sweet pup out? If you have room for Lily Pad in your home and heart, please fill out an adoption application above.

Blondie - Mix

AGE: 2 1/2 years old
SEX: Female

Blondie is a 2 ½ year old terrier mix. She is approximately 20 pounds. Blondie walks well on a leash and is learning housetraining (she knows a successful potty time equals a treat); she only has had a couple of accidents. She is shy when you first meet her but opens up very quickly. Blondie is crate trained but prefers to sleep in the bed if she is allowed. She ignores the cats and dogs in her foster home and when it’s dinnertime, she is not aggressive and prefers to lie down while eating! Blondie is UTD on her shots, is spayed and microchipped. All she is waiting for is her forever home where she is ready to give endless amounts of love!

Hope - Hound Mix

AGE: 1 - 2 years old
SEX: Female

Hope & Faith wandered up skinny with raw pads to a local farm in Guilford County. It was apparent that the girls had been running the countryside for awhile and finally find a safe place to help them. Other than being tired, hungry, and sore the girls are in pretty good health. They are resting comfortably in their foster home and recuperating from their ordeal. Once they have put on some weight, they will be vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. We anticipate that they will be ready for their new homes mid-October. If you are interested in giving Faith and/ or Hope a forever home, please fill out an adoption application above. You couldn't ask for a sweeter girl!

Todd - Pomeranian Mix

AGE: 11 months old
SEX: Male

Todd came to Red Dog Farm after his owner could no longer care for him.  Todd injured his leg prior to coming to us and the owner was unable to afford medical treatment or long term care for Todd in general.  Todd has very thin boned legs and needs special care in order to not re-injure them.  In other words, Todd needs to limit his jumping on and off stairs or furniture, etc.  He is currently in a cast with weekly bandage changes allowing time for the leg to heal.  While it will take several weeks for his leg to heal properly, our veterinarians and staff anticipate that he will make a full recovery.  Todd will be available for adoption once his leg has healed.  He will need a home willing to "baby" him to some degree and a home with older children in order to limit future accidents.  Please stay tuned for updates on Todd's condition as he continues to get nursed back to health.

Faith - Hound Mix

AGE: 1 - 2 years old
SEX: Female

Hercules - Lab/ Gt. Dane Mix

AGE: 4-5 years old
SEX: Male

Hercules was found about a month ago as a stray. When his owners could not be located he came to Red Dog Farm. Hercules is very laid back and likes kids and other dogs. He does want to chase small animals outside but listens well on a leash and will stop and sit when asked. This boy is big and weighs close to 100 lbs. Although a large dog, Hercules is a true "gentle giant" and wants to just curl up on your lap. He is a very sweet boy who is just looking for love and attention! If you are interested in adopting Hercules, please fill out an adoption application above.

Tucker - Mix

AGE: 18 weeks old
SEX: Male

“Tucker” is a perfect example of the saying “Great American Mutt!” We have no clue what all he is mixed with, but he is an all around fabulous puppy. He is short and thick and does not look like he will be a tall dog. His coat is wavy on top (like a Chesapeake Bay Retriever) and his tail curls up. He absolutely loves other dogs, sleeps with the cat in his foster home and is fabulous with small children, never jumping up on them. He is crate trained and uses a doggie door. He also loves to ride in the car. Tucker listens very well and never runs off. He even follows his foster mom around the farm when she goes for trail rides on her horse. So far, we can’t find a single “issue” with Tucker – he will be a great addition to any active household. He would love a home with another dog or active children to play with. If you are interested in adopting Tucker, please fill out an adoption application above.

Piper - Australian Kelpie

AGE: 1 - 2 years old
SEX: Female

Piper was found by a nice lady who hoped to keep her. However, one week after rescuing Piper she discovered that she needed surgery and could not take on another dog at this time. So Piper came to RDF in hopes of finding her forever family. Piper is young and enjoys being busy. She didn't want us to say active as she thought that might send the wrong message. She doesn't care what the activity is that she is doing but she would like some activity in her life. Her foster mom reports that wile she is excellent at running in the backyard and playing with her one foster sibling, she is quite the cuddler. Piper enjoys curling up to watch a good movie. She has had all of her medical work completed and is ready to find her special family today. If you are interested in giving Piper a forever home, please fill out an adoption application above.

Dobby - Chihuahua/ Pomeranian Mix

AGE: 1 year old
SEX: Male

Dobby came to us a little skinny and a little worn but super sweet! He was originally found as a stray. We don't think Dobby has a ever met a stranger. He is very outgoing for a little dog and shows no signs of a Napoleon Complex. Dobby seems to get along with all types of dogs, cats and people. Dobby has been updated on his vaccines and will be microchipped and neutered in the next week or so. In the meantime, he is resting comfortably in his foster home. We are still getting to know some of his preference and will update you as we get to know him better. In the meantime, please fill out an adoption application above if you want to adopt him.

Polly - Retriever Mix

AGE: 8 weeks old
SEX: Female

Polly came to Red Dog Farm after a Good Samaritan rescued her from a bad situation. She is very sweet, little, and just learning about the world. Polly is a typical puppy and needs a home that is willing to work with her closely for the next year so she can learn to be the best dog ever! Of course, she is giving you a great personality to start with. Our volunteers are having a fantastic time working with her. Polly has received her first round of vaccines and has been dewormed. She will be spayed and microcipped in a few weeks when she is a little older. In the meantime, you can apply to adopt her by filling out the application above.

Jambalaya-  Catahoula/ Retriever Mix

AGE: 1 year old
SEX: Female

Jambalaya originally came to Red Dog Farm as a puppy a year ago. She was adopted out to a wonderful family but due to family changes Jambalaya had to come back to RDF. She is as sweet as she can be. Jambalaya still has some puppy tendencies or rather energy but all in all she is a great little girl! She will make a fabulous pet for any family. If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out an application above.

Spur - Lab Mix

AGE: 9 - 12 months old
SEX: Female

Spur came to RDF when her owners could no longer keep her. She is still a puppy in many ways and needs to learn some manners. She can be slightly choosy about who her doggie friends are but loves people. Spur is up to date on all of her vaccines. She will be microchipped and spayed shortly. Spur should be ready to go to her new home the beginning of October. We are still getting to know Spur and will update you as we get to know her better. If you are interested in adopting Spur, please fill out an adoption application above.

Update! Spur has been vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is officially all set to go to her new home! In fact, her bags are already packed in anticipation of finding that forever home. Spur would love someone to show her the ropes of the big world out there. She is still working on her manners but it's hard sometimes when you get excited to mind your p's and q's. If you are looking for a dog to be your best friend, then Spur is your girl!

Maggie - Lab Mix

AGE: 7 years old
SEX: Female

When Maggie's owners decided that they no longer had safe living conditions for her, she turned to RDF for help.  Maggie is a happy go lucky girl who LOVES to talk to anyone and everyone she meets.  We think she would have been a comedian or writer in her former life with as much as she likes to tell a story.  Maggie gets along well with her foster dogs, cat, and bunny. Maggie has yet to meet a foe.  She is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped, and spayed.  She is ready to go home today. If you are interested in adopting Maggie, please fill out an adoption application above. .

Update! Maggie came back to Red Dog Farm after her adoptive family realized that she just wasn't thrilled with all of the hustle and bustle in their home.  Maggie did not do a thing wrong but would be happiest in a home that was a little more laid back.  She did great with kids and other dogs but three kids and three dogs and lots of visitors was just too busy for her.  It is fun for a play date but Maggie would like a calmer environment in general.  Maggie loves to go for walks, play ball, get loved on, and chill on her dog bed.  She would be a perfect dog for a couple (young or old) or a first time dog owner who has their first job and needs a friend.

Spike - Chihuahua Mix

AGE: 8 years old
SEX: Male

Spike came to Red Dog Farm originally because his owner could no longer care for him. His original owner had had him some he was a puppy. We adopted him out three years ago to a wonderful lady who treated him fabulously. However, she fell very ill unexpectedly and recently found out she would no longer be able to care for him. Spike is now once again looking for his forever home. He is a sweet boy who would love a home where he could be doted on once again. Spike enjoys the occasional walk but really enjoys snuggling on the couch. He does fine with other dogs and cats. He even enjoys playing from time to time with his foster sibling. Spike is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and neutered. If you are interested in adopting Spike, please fill out an adoption application above.

Kodiak- Malamute Mix

AGE: 2-4 years old
SEX: Male

Kodiak came to Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue Network after being found as a stray during the holidays. He is a very affectionate dog who just wants to hug you and love on you. This need often overrides his manners. He does wish to obey but just can't get enough of his people. Kodiak also loves to run which is typical of his breed(s). He does well with other dogs but does tend to chase cats that don't stand up for themselves. Kodiak will need a home where he will get plenty of exercise and someone willing to continue to work with him on his manners. He knows the basics but needs a bit of a refresher. Kodiak also has to be one of the softest dogs our volunteers have gotten to love on. If you are interested in giving Kodiak a forever home, please fill out an adoption application above.

She loves to follow her foster mom while she does her house and farm chores. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. She would make a wonderful addition to any family. Willow is quite the sweetheart and has a very soft side. Her only downfall is that she needs some medication to help with a leaky bladder. She is currently on an inexpensive drug called Proin to help keep her bladder muscles tightened. Older age gets the better part of all of us a some point. She hopes that her medication won't prevent her from coming home with you. If you are interested in adopting Willow, please start by filling out an adoption application above.

Thanks to a donor a year supply of Willow's medication has been donated for her to use and will go to her new owner. Her medication cost about $15 a month!
